    Shaykh Shakiel Humayun

    Makes Complex Matters Simple
    Shakiel’s engaging teaching style and ability to make complex matters simple have drawn students to his courses for over two decades. 

    Born and raised in the US, Shakiel understands the American-Muslim dynamic and delivers his courses in a context that resonates with his students. 

    He’s an entrepreneur by profession and has graduated from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College with a BBA in Business Administration. 

    He completed post-graduate studies at the Umm-ul-Qura University in Makkah al-Mukarramah receiving an Associate’s Degree with honors. He continued his studies at the College of Shariah at Umm-ul-Qura University. 

    In 2006, he founded FKAD Institute, and in 2011, he founded the NYC Muslim Center, the largest Islamic center in NYC, and turned it into a mega-center that includes multiple branches such as FKAD Institute, The Wellspring Schools, Uplift, the Hatebusters, Angels and more. Recently, he founded the Jesus Son of Mary Center in Tampa, Florida, and continues his efforts in presenting Islam to the American demographic.

    Shaykh Zakareeya Baksh

    Quenches Your Thirst for Knowledge
    Zakareeya has a library of classical books in his brain. He delivers engaging lectures and makes them relevant to his audience. He is an avid researcher and always eager to discover new things.

    Raised in New York, he has completed his memorization of the Quran with multiple Ijazahs, as well as many classical Arabic texts. He graduated with both Bachelor's and Masters's Degrees in Islamic Studies from the International Open University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Islamic Studies!

    He currently serves as the Resident Scholar at the largest Islamic Center in NYC, the NYC Muslim Center.

    Dr. Suzy Ismail

    Family & Marriage Expert
    Dr. Suzy Ismail is the author of many books including "Modern Muslim Marriage," "9 to 5," "When Muslim Marriage Fails," and several other works. She specializes in educating and empowering women, youth, and vulnerable populations by presenting a range of workshops, lectures, programs, diversity seminars, and corporate training both nationally and internationally.

    She has presented on the topics of marriage, family, parenting, identity, and teens at many public and private universities around the world and at the World Meeting of Families during Pope Francis’ first visit to the US. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication, a Master of Philosophy in Human Services, and a PhD in Human Services focusing on Family Studies & Intervention Strategies.

    Dr. Kareem Hassan

    Tradition with Modern Relevance
    Dr. Kareem Hassan has a knack for sparking 'a-ha' moments in Islamic Studies. After completing a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from St. John’s University, he embarked on a deeper spiritual journey, earning an Associate's Degree with high honors in Arabic and Islamic Studies at FKAD Institute.

    Currently, Dr. Kareem is pursuing a Master's Degree in Islamic Studies at the accredited International Open University. He co-founded the Jesus Son of Mary Center in Tampa, Florida, and The Hatebusters in NYC and spearheaded the expansion of NYC Muslim Center which is now the largest Islamic Center in NYC.

    Shaykh Nouh Kawkab

    Touches Your Soul
    Nouh touches souls with his heavenly recitation and heart-warming classes.

    Nouh memorized the Quran at the age of 15. He went on to complete courses in Belief and Jurisprudence with scholars in the UAE.

    He holds multiple ijazahs in the Hafs recitation and won 1st place several times in UAE’s national competitions held by Dubai International Holy Quran Award and the Awqaf.
